An opening  position of Lecturer with a PhD in the field of Italian language training is available at the University of Graz.

The position, starting in September 2024, involves independent teaching of courses in Italian language training for students in Romance Studies at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels. The responsibilities also include collaboration in teaching and examination tasks, participation in the coordination of the Italian language training department, contribution to the development of new teaching methods and courses, and supervision of students.
The ideal candidate should have completed doctoral or PhD studies, preferably in Italian foreign language didactics or related fields, with proven experience in teaching Italian at the university level. Fluency in Italian, very good written and spoken German, and good competency in English are required.
