The Department of Italian Studies at Connecticut College in New London (CT) seeks a part-time adjunct instructor for Spring 2023 to teach two coordinated sections of Italian 102, the second semester of our elementary Italian program. The sections are taught in person and meet MW 1:15-2:30 PM and MW 2:45-4:00 PM, semester dates are 1/23- 5/17. The successful candidate must hold a minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent and be authorized to work in the US. The position is paid on a per-course rate. Experience or capacity to teach college-level language courses following current best pedagogical practices is required. Connecticut College requires employees to be fully vaccinated and have received a booster for COVID-19 and new employees must present their COVID-19 vaccination record to 36 Human Resources prior to the first day of employment.
